Really enjoyed this place, it was well-run and nicely decorated. The hotel was in an excellent location near the old Centre as well as the train station and bus station. Also, it was relatively close to Sanmachi Suji.

i had a fantastic experience as the hotel was just a pleasant walk to both the old town area and the beautiful hida minzoku mura folk village, perfect for my weekend strolls.

The staff are nice and welcoming. It has great and good setting in the middle of the city.

Staying here was a good experience! The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the train and bus stations, as well as the charming Old Town. Our room was spacious and clean, with a refreshing balcony. The staff were friendly, we had all the information needed for a pleasant stay.

The beautifully designed room was a highlight, with comfortable furnishings including a great chair, though two chairs would have been better. The complimentary private onsen was a fantastic touch, great to unwind after exploring nearby sights and excellent restaurants, including a favorite for Hida beef. The breakfast buffet was superb, with options including gourmet salads. Despite being close to the train station, noise was never an issue during the night.

The location is spot on. Just a short walk from both the train and bus stations. This made our day trips effortless. The room felt spacious, clean, and the decor was modern. Free water in glass bottles stood out as a thoughtful touch, and the wooden toothbrushes. Staff members were warm and cute, really attentive to our needs. Breakfast offered a nice variety, fueling us for our adventures. The onsen on the rooftop? Absolutely relaxing with a beautiful view. The city could improve its tourist transport system. The information for the city loop bus was confusing. We struggled with bus schedules and had difficulty hailing a taxi on a snowy night. This really impacted our plans. I'd recommend this hotel if you're visiting Takayama, just be ready to navigate the transport situation.

The Privilege Double Room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful decor and many modern amenities. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety, our mornings started off right. We especially loved the rooftop onsen.

The rooftop onsen was the highlight of our stay! So relaxing with a beautiful view. The room was spacious, and the breakfast offered a nice variety. Only downside was the crowded lobby with so many tourists.

The beautiful decor enhanced our enjoyment, and the rooftop onsen provided a unique relaxation spot. Just a bit too soft pillows, but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend to couples, especially for the convenience to the train station!
